Instructors are wanted for the 2026-2027 ski season

We are looking for new instructors for our ski school for the 2026-2027 ski season (December-March). We are looking for committed and skilled instructors for both beginners and advanced/exercise enthusiasts in classic and skating . You must be over 16 years old. Regardless of your background, we welcome you as an applicant, as long as you have satisfactory or good skiing skills.

Apply by November 1, 2026 to join the instructor launch and training in January!

We also accept applications on an ongoing basis.

Job responsibilities:

• Offering ski courses at Sognsvann and potentially at Voksenkollen, Frognerseteren, and Holmenkollen.

• Deliver private or group-based courses in classic and/or skating (1.5 hours duration)

• Assist with distributing ski equipment to participants as needed

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory skiing skills (applies to instructors for beginners)

• Above-average skills and understanding of ski technique (applies to instructors for advanced and recreational skiers)

• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English

• Experience as an instructor or coach is an advantage, but not a requirement

We are looking for someone who:

• Is service-minded and meets our customers with a smile and enthusiasm for cross-country skiing

• Is conscientious, reliable, and punctual

• Ability to teach at least 2 courses per week (flexibility can be discussed)
