Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for GoSki Oslo

1. Satisfaction guarantee

GoSki offers a satisfaction guarantee for group courses, private lessons and roller ski lessons. This guarantee does not apply to Norwegian ski courses, corporate courses or ski experiences for tourists. At GoSki, we do everything we can to ensure you have the best skiing experience, and your satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not happy with your lesson, or if you realize that cross-country skiing isn't for you, we'll refund your course fee in full. To take advantage of this guarantee, you must inform the instructor within the first 30 minutes of the lesson, stating that you wish to cancel the lesson and explaining the reason for your dissatisfaction.

2. Privacy and GDPR

Protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of personal data is important to us. Our privacy policy provides detailed information about how we collect personal data and what types of personal data are registered with us. Our counselors keep a minimal record for ICF accreditation. The content of the guidance remains confidential and personal data is protected. Read our privacy policy HERE.

3. Ski course - Snow conditions and alternative locations

Our courses are arranged in areas with good snow conditions. If there is too little snow to conduct a course, we will move the course to an alternative location. If there is no snow at the alternative locations, the course will be postponed. For private lessons, alternative times and locations can be arranged with your instructor.

4. Extreme weather conditions

The ski courses will be conducted as long as the temperature is above -20 degrees Celsius or the wind speed is below 15 meters per second. If the temperature falls below this limit or the wind exceeds it, the course will be moved to another date or postponed. Remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

5. Relocation and cancellation of courses

If you wish to reschedule or cancel your course, you can do this yourself via the confirmation email you received when you registered, no later than 48 hours before the course starts. In the confirmation email, you will find a link for moving and canceling courses. If you are unable to cancel or move the course yourself, please contact us at least 48 hours before the course starts and we will help you with this. Company courses are paid in advance via invoice. Companies wishing to postpone or cancel an agreed course can do so no later than 14 days before the course starts.

6. Number of participants

In a group lesson, there is a maximum of six participants per instructor, and a minimum of two participants. If there is only one participant, we will find a new course for you or offer you a private lesson to ensure you receive a lesson of equivalent or higher value.

7. Equipment

Participants on ski courses are responsible for bringing their own equipment, unless they have instructed to rent equipment when registering. The equipment you bring must be in good condition, properly fitted (length and type of skis, length of ski poles, size and type of ski boots) and prepared (lubricated for the day's conditions). If you rent equipment from GoSki, we guarantee that the equipment is in good condition, correctly sized and adapted to current conditions. If equipment rented from GoSki is broken or damaged, the participant must pay for the repair or replacement of the damaged equipment in accordance with the current market price in Oslo.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling of courses due to illness

The course fee is refunded in the event of documented illness, i.e. we require a sick note or other medical confirmation from a doctor or emergency room confirming that you are ill. You must notify us at least 24 hours before the course starts. In the event of undocumented illness, the fee will not be refunded.

9. Liability and personal injury

Sports Connect AS (operating as GoSki Oslo) is not responsible for injuries to participants that occur during the ski course. Participants are responsible for informing instructors or administrators of any health problems or injuries they have. Neither Sports Connect AS, their instructors or partners are responsible for injuries or damages that occur during our courses or activities. It is the participants' responsibility to assess their own skill level and risk of injury.

10. Delays

If you are delayed, the instructor will wait for you for a maximum of 30 minutes. You must notify the instructor of the delay. If you arrive after 30 minutes, the course fee will be charged in full and the course will be canceled. If you are delayed by less than 30 minutes, the course will end at the scheduled time. For group courses, it is important that you are ready with the equipment at the start of the course. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the start of the course, especially if you need to rent equipment. If you are late for a group course, the group will start without you and it is your responsibility to find the group on the course.

11. Gift and voucher cards

Gift and voucher cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. We do not refund gift and voucher cards and do not give refunds for unused services.
