Terms and conditions
1. Satisfaction Guarantee
GoSki offers a satisfaction guarantee for group lessons, private lessons, and roller ski lessons. This guarantee does not apply to Norwegian ski courses, corporate courses, or ski experiences for tourists. At GoSki, we do everything we can to ensure you have the best experience on skis, and your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not satisfied with your lesson, we will refund the course fee in full. To use this guarantee, you must inform the instructor within the first 30 minutes of the lesson, state that you wish to cancel the lesson, and explain the reason for your dissatisfaction.
2. Privacy and GDPR
Protecting the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of personal data is important to us. Our privacy policy provides comprehensive information on how we collect personal data and what types of personal data we register. Our instructors maintain minimal records for ICF accreditation. The content of the guidance remains confidential, and personal data is protected. Read our privacy policy HERE.
3. Ski Courses - Snow Conditions and Alternative Locations
If there is too little snow to conduct a course, we will endeavor to move the course to an alternative location. If there is no snow at the alternative locations, the course will be postponed. If the course location is changed, you will be notified at least 12 hours before the course starts via SMS or email. It is therefore important that you read the message we send you.
4. Extreme Weather Conditions
Ski courses will be conducted as long as the temperature is above -20 degrees Celsius or the wind speed is below 15 meters per second. If the temperature drops below this limit or the wind exceeds it, the course will be moved to another date or postponed. Remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellation of Courses
If you wish to move or cancel your course, you can do so yourself via the confirmation email you received upon registration, no later than 48 hours before the course starts. In the confirmation email, you will find a link for moving and canceling courses. If you are unable to cancel or move the course yourself, please contact us at least 48 hours before the course starts, and we will assist you. Corporate courses are paid in advance via invoice. Companies wishing to postpone or cancel an agreed course can do so no later than 14 days before the course starts.
6. Number of Participants
In a group lesson, there is a maximum of 8 participants per instructor, and a minimum of 2 participants. If there is only one participant, we will find a new course for you or offer you a private lesson to ensure you receive a lesson of equivalent or higher value.
7. Equipment
Participants in ski courses are responsible for bringing their own equipment, unless they have arranged to rent equipment during registration. Your brought equipment must be in proper condition, correctly fitted (length and type of skis, length of ski poles, size and type of ski boots) and prepared (waxed for current conditions).
If you rent equipment from GoSki, we guarantee that the equipment is in good condition and the correct size. If equipment rented from GoSki is broken or damaged, the participant must pay for the repair or replacement of the damaged equipment in accordance with the current market price in Oslo.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Courses Due to Illness
The course fee will be refunded in case of documented illness, meaning we require a doctor's note or other medical confirmation from a doctor or emergency clinic confirming your illness. You must notify us at least 24 hours before the course starts. For undocumented illness, the fee will not be refunded.
9. Liability and Personal Injury
Participation in ski courses and activities organized by Sports Connect AS (GoSki Oslo) is at your own risk. Skiing inherently involves a risk of injury. Participants are responsible for assessing their own skill level, physical fitness, and health condition, as well as for informing the instructor or administration about relevant health issues or previous injuries before the course starts. Sports Connect AS is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage that occurs as a result of normal risks associated with skiing activities, including accidents, falls, or collisions. The company is also not responsible for injuries caused by participants not following the instructor's directions or using equipment incorrectly.
10. Delays
If you are late, the course will end at the scheduled time.
If you are late for a private lesson, the instructor will wait for you for a maximum of 30 minutes. You must notify the instructor of the delay. If you arrive after 30 minutes, the course fee will be charged in full and the course will be cancelled.
For group courses, it is important that you are ready with your equipment at the start of the course. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the course starts, especially if you need to rent equipment. If you are late for a group course, the group will start without you, and it is your responsibility to find the group on the trail.
11. Gift Cards and Punch Cards
Gift cards and punch cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We do not refund gift cards or punch cards, nor do we provide refunds for unused services. The right of withdrawal, in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, applies for 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the gift card has not been used in whole or in part. Once the gift card is used, the right of withdrawal expires.
