Terms and conditions
1. Satisfaction guarantee
GoSki offers a satisfaction guarantee for group lessons, private lessons and roller skiing lessons. This guarantee does not apply to Norwegian courses on skis, corporate courses or ski experiences for tourists. At GoSki, we do everything we can to ensure that you have the best experience with skis on your feet, and your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not satisfied with your lesson, we will refund the course fee in full. To take advantage of this guarantee, you must inform the instructor within the first 30 minutes of the lesson, let them know that you wish to cancel the lesson, and explain the reason for your dissatisfaction.
2. Privacy and GDPR
Protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of personal data is important to us. Our privacy policy provides detailed information about how we collect personal data and what types of personal data are registered with us. Our counselors keep a minimal record for ICF accreditation. The content of the guidance remains confidential and personal data is protected. Read our privacy policy HERE.
3. Ski course - Snow conditions and alternative locations
If there is too little snow to hold a course, we will strive to move the course to an alternative location. If there is no snow at the alternative locations, the course will be postponed. If the course location has changed, you will be notified no later than 12 hours before the course starts by SMS or email. It is therefore important that you read the message we send you.
4. Extreme weather conditions
The ski courses will be conducted as long as the temperature is above -20 degrees Celsius or the wind speed is below 15 meters per second. If the temperature falls below this limit or the wind exceeds it, the course will be moved to another date or postponed. Remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
5. Relocation and cancellation of courses
If you wish to move or cancel your course, you can do this yourself via the confirmation email you received when registering, no later than 48 hours before the course starts. In the confirmation email you will find a link for moving and cancelling courses. If you are unable to cancel or move the course yourself, please contact us at least 48 hours before the course starts, and we will help you with this. Corporate courses are paid in advance via invoice. Companies that wish to postpone or cancel an agreed course can do this no later than 14 days before the course starts.
6. Number of participants
In a group class there is a maximum of 8 participants per instructor, and a minimum of 2 participants. If there is only one participant, we will find a new course for you or offer you a private lesson to ensure you receive a lesson of equal or greater value.
7. Equipment
Participants in ski courses are responsible for bringing their own equipment, unless they have indicated to rent equipment when registering. The equipment you bring must be in good condition, properly adjusted (length and type of skis, length of ski poles, size and type of ski boots) and prepared (lubricated for the current conditions).
If you rent equipment from GoSki, we guarantee that the equipment is in good condition and the correct size. If equipment rented from GoSki is broken or damaged, the participant must pay for the repair or replacement of the damaged equipment in accordance with the current market price in Oslo.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling of courses due to illness
The course fee is refunded in the event of documented illness, i.e. we require a sick note or other medical confirmation from a doctor or emergency room confirming that you are ill. You must notify us at least 24 hours before the course starts. In the event of undocumented illness, the fee will not be refunded.
9. Liability and personal injury
Participation in ski courses and activities arranged by Sports Connect AS ( GoSki Oslo ) is done at your own risk. Skiing activity involves an inherent risk of injury. Participants are responsible for assessing their own skill level, physical fitness and health, and for informing the instructor or administration of any relevant health problems or previous injuries before the course starts. Sports Connect AS is not responsible for injuries, losses or damage that occur as a result of normal risks associated with skiing activity, including accidents, falls or collisions. The company is also not responsible for injuries that occur due to the participant not following the instructor's instructions or using equipment incorrectly.
10. Delays
If you are late, the course will end at the scheduled time.
If you are late for your private lesson, the instructor will wait for you for a maximum of 30 minutes. You must notify the instructor of your delay. If you arrive after 30 minutes, the course fee will be charged in full and the course will be cancelled.
For group courses, it is important that you are ready with your equipment at the start of the course. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the course starts, especially if you need to rent equipment. If you are late for a group course, the group will start without you, and it is your responsibility to find the group on the trail.
11. Gift and voucher cards
Gift and gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We do not refund gift and gift cards and do not give money back for unused services. The right of withdrawal according to the Right of Withdrawal Act applies for 14 days from the date of purchase, provided that the gift card has not been used in whole or in part. When the gift card is used, the right of withdrawal lapses.
