Roller skiing lessons in Oslo - private lessons in classic and skate skiing
Learn to walk safely and effectively roller skis with an instructor who only has you to See on. We tailor the lesson to your level, whether you have never been on roller skis before or want to hone your technique before the snow comes.
The focus is on braking, safety and technique , in that order. When you dare to go downhill, the rest will follow.
Roller skis classic
Diagonal stride , double poling and V2 (one-skate) on asphalt. Classic roller skis has a reverse lock, so the kickback feels different than on snow. Most people spend the first half of the hour finding grip and learning how to brake. Suitable for those who walk classic in winter and will keep the technique warm.
Roller skis skate skiing
V2 alternate (two-skate), V2 (one-skate) and V1 (offset) on wheels. Skate roller skis roll fast and have no backstop, so balance and edge control become more apparent than on snow. Therefore, summer is the best time to fix a flawed skate skiing technique. Suitable for those who already do skate skiing and want to get faster.
