Classic Group Course – Beginner Plus
This cross-country skiing course is perfect for those with minimal experience (1 to 10 ski trips). You can move forward, but want to improve your glide and flow on the skis . You will learn basic cross-country skiing techniques in classic style and improve balance and control. After the course you will be ready to face the slopes with confidence and better technique !
About the course
Small group of up to 8 people
You will learn basic cross-country skiing techniques in 1.5 hours.
The course can be held in Norwegian and English
The meeting point is a 15-minute walk from the metro ( Voksenkollen metro station), with large parking lot available
Equipment can be rented affordably at the course location.

Registration
Cancellations and transfers must be made no later than 48 hours before the start of the course.
Ski equipment rental
You can rent equipment at the course site at Skimore at Tryvann . Our course participants get an extra favorable price – only 275 NOK for the full package in the 2026–27 season.
If you wish to rent equipment:
Meet at Skimore 60 minutes before the course starts.
Show your course registration email to the staff at the counter to receive the special price.
Find your GoSki instructor outside the ski rental.
Return the equipment after the course. You can also explore the trails on your own after the course and return the ski equipment later the same day, before the ski rental closes.
Meeting point
📍 Tryvann - outside Vidsjå restaurant
Take the subway (metro) Line 1 towards Frognerseteren .
This is a direct metro line, easily accessible from Oslo city center. Enjoy the view of the fjord and the city as the metro takes you to the top of Oslo.
Get off at Voksenkollen metro station and walk 15 minutes to the meeting point at Tryvann .
Alternatively, you can take the free shuttle bus up to Tryvann if you want to skip the walk.
There is also a large parking lot Tryvann if you come by car.
